    Default Shawnee Guns and Ammo

Stopped at Shawnee Guns and Ammo in Plymouth PA oa a whim. Picked up some 9mm American Eagle for 16.00. They have an FN Five Seven NIB for sale. I think it was abou 1400 or so.

They bave 45, 40, some primers. Owner was very friendly

The owners are indeed very nice, but be careful with this FFL. If you purchase a firearm from them, they will refuse to provide you with a copy of your signed 4473 ATF form. They will claim that it is illegal for FFL's to provide copies of signed ATF 4473 forms, which is an absolute lie. You can call the ATF yourself to confirm this, which I asked the FFL to do as well, which again they refused to do. Obviously, this FFL is doing something shady.

Having purchased firearms from several other local FFL's, and large sporting goods retailers, I have never once been denied a copy of my signed 4473 ATF form.

    Buyer beware!

$16 for 50 9mm is really high if it was a box of 50. if it was 100 round box a decent deal. Walmart has federal brand for under $9 a box right now. A box of 100 was like $16 and change

It does not sound right ? Why should the purchaser be denied a copy ?

I'm sure the owner was very friendly. You got fucked by him at the register for that 9mm ammo. 32 cents per 9mm bullet is highway robbery. Unless those were speer gold dots, you should have gone elsewhere

That post about the $16 9mm was from March, 2013. In all fairness, prices were a bit higher back then.

I've shopped there a bit in the past. I don't believe there shady in the least, maybe a bit to cautious, and a little stubborn. If you are ever back in the area, check out Piestrak"s gun shop in Nanticoke. Great selection, and great deals. just got a very nice used CZ P07 Tactical. $380.
