How do you know when these approvals and pendings are happening? Is there a website to check or something?

You can call them to check on your status. I knew my pending dates for months. When the dealer called about my suppressor coming in, I called for the status on my SBR stamp. That one took over a week longer to arrive even though they were approved on consecutive days. Go figure.

Call the ATF (304) 616-4500 and tell them you want to check the status of your item. They will ask/require your name, serial #, and transfering dealer.
