If the parts don't fit, check out this link to find out the exact model you have:

Other then that for the barrel like other's have said look into cold Bluing. For about $30 you can pick up a bottle bluing and a bottle of rust remover. This is available at your local Dick's Sporting Goods or your local gun shop might have it. The most common brand it Birchwood Casey. That's what I use when I work on my guns. I highly recommend you use Super Blue Liquid Blue. That comes out much darker and looks much better. Some people also mentioned your receiver is aluminum, there's a finish for that too.

    Here's some links:
    Super Blue:http://sport.birchwoodcasey.com/Fini...2-ccacffc80906
    AluminumFinish:http://sport.birchwoodcasey.com/Fini...a-8820790beefb
    Blue&RustRemover:http://sport.birchwoodcasey.com/Fini...b-29fd7b7e02db
    Cleanerdegreaser:http://sport.birchwoodcasey.com/Fini...7-46404940cf8e

It's not that difficult to do if you follow directions. Apply Cleaner-Degreaser, Wipe clean with no oily rag. Apply Blue & Rust remover. Buff with light steel wool if desired. Apply Finish. Let sit for a few minutes. Wash all parts with water. Dry, Dry, and Dry. Apply lots of oil and wipe down.

Here's some tips I learned in a few years doing this,
    1. Follow the directions on the bottles to the T.
    2. Where a pair of latex gloves.
    3. Take your time and enjoy what your doing.

What kind of material is that? If it's plastic maybe go over it with very fine sand paper and see how that looks. If you really want to paint you can use any tough paint spray paint. Just remember to let it dry for at least three days.

If you go with the dura cote finish be sure to clean/degrease it thoroughly !!! , acetone works best . Heating it with a heat gun or hair drier will prevent runs , give it a tack coat from about six to eight inches away and then a couple more coverage coats . It will dry to handle in a couple hours , but takes a couple weeks to TOTALLY cure . Have used it for refinishing many times.
+1 on letting it cure fully before handling it a lot. I could scratch off week old duracoat with my fingernail but after a month it is some pretty tough stuff.
