Thumbs up IDPA at Ready Aim Fire tonight, May 8th

We're having an IDPA match tonight at Ready Aim Fire. Sign up is from 4:00 to 8:00. It's open squadding, walk on and shoot. We have 4 pretty intense stages set up, with a no shoot swinger used on 2 stages. I hope some of you will join us.

Stage descriptions can be found here: http://www.rafire.com/stages/may06.htm

Sorry, I had left for the match already. Ready Aim Fire is in Bristol Township, last exit on the Turnpike before New Jersey.

I just took a look at the RAF site. That looks like a lot of fun, and as you said, very intense. I've never done anything like that before, although I do shoot a lot. Next month I will give it a try. I've looked at the stages but it doesn't say anything about the distances involved. Could you tell me how far the targets are? I would imagine they are between 10'-30' Thanks!

Does RAF do IDPA on a regular schedule? If so I can add the recurring dates (or one date at a time) to the calendar which will show up in the "Events in the Next 30 Days" section of the main forum page.

Thumbs up Great training aid for competition shooting.

Here's a site that I use for practicing that all important first shot.

Goto www.Burkettvideo.com and click on the "Online Dryfire Drills" Tab on the left. I could give you a description of what it's all about but I won't. Just check it out for yourself.

Sorry I've been away for a bit. We normally hold the match on the second Monday of the month. However, due to training obligations, it occasionally gets moved or cancelled. Once next month's match date is confirmed, I'll request it to be added to the calendar.

The Web Site contains information about the matches as well.

    Thanks!
