    Default Remove AG Authority

Anybody know a legislator that would write a bill to remove the authority of the AG to add, remove, or modify reciprical agreements, and put with the legislature?

    Absolutely a bad idea.

And who in the Legislature would be personally responsible to perform such acts? Constitutionally it is the Executive Branch's responsibility to enforce or uphold the law - not the Legislative Branch. Enacting, amending, or dissolving of agreements is an act of upholding the law.

The Attorney General is part of the Executive Branch.

Such authority within the Legislature would be unconstitutional. You would need to pick someone within the Executive Branch.

Just because we have one nitwit in the AG's office, moving the authority around will not make a lick of difference. It is safest within an elected official's position, and only proper within the Executive Branch.

Like Knight said, it's easier and safer overall to remove the idiot (an idiotodectomoy?) in office than to give the powers of that office to an even bigger group of idiots.....

Just pass a bill in the state congress that says any permit will be accepted in the state.

They could do that could they not?

That's what needs to be done. Since PA already honors a permit from any state while the person is in a car, it shouldn't be to hard to open it up completely.

I would love to have someone like that cool guy Metcalfe call it the "Kane Rule"

Kind of would tell her what most patriots in the state think of her.
