Re: OC Dinner, Wilkes-Barre Bennigan's Saturday 4/12, 7PM
This outing has brought on a newfound hatred for GoogleMaps, and dense commercial/retail areas. Girlfriend and I showed up almost 2 hours late due to getting lost, and people who work at Bennigan's not being able to give us proper directions from less than a mile away. Yeesh.
What time was spent was fun. Good to see MrUgly, Lizbet, and Pa Patriot again, as well as meet imperialism2024. Sorry to the other attendee who I didnt get to meet, maybe some other time.
OCing at the resturant was positive. No odd looks that I picked up on. Hostess did the usual PAFOA meeting greeting; "Hi, im meeti-" "Oh, your groups right over here sir". They always stereotype us OC folks together. Waiter was entertaining and freindly, giving us a good round of movie trivia, and had a positive interest in learning more about firearm rules and regs. I think I even caught a quip he made about Lizbet's Beretta 92 being smooter-operating than husband MrUgly's Ruger P89, but not sure.
Again, another fun PAFOA OC meetup, even if it was smaller than last weeks lunch.

Sorry we couldn't make it, even though we probably live the closest. At 7pm I was napping on the couch in prep for working the midnight shift tonight.

Am looking forward to getting to one of these events soon... cant make the one in Dickson City... having surgery on May 7 for rotator cuff tear.... but maybe after that we could have one in the Hazleton area... and maybe invite Mayor Barletta to it...LOL....
We could talk about OUR way to help with the illegal immigrant situation.....
Anyway... I will do my best to make one of these events in the very near future...
Sounds like everyone had a good time

It was fun meeting some new people, and yes, the reaction was neutral (most people didn't notice) to positive from our waiter who really earned his tip .
I'll definitely be at that picnic!
Really irritated at myself though, as I got to chatting with the waiter about my gun, I totally forgot to take home the rest of my superb monte carlo sandwich. *sad panda*

And guess what everyone? After the dinner, I left, and I didn't OC at Walmart!!!
I didn't even go to Walmart!
Anyhow, it was a good time. Even if they did keep forgetting to bring my food...Safety is a good tool for tyrants; no one can be against safety.

Had a nice time at the dinner. Did anyone ever find out what the answer to the waiters movie trivia question was?
