Exclamation Michael Bloomberg: Hand Guns More Deadly Than 'Assault Weapons'

Registration and confiscation will most likely be his next big push in his phase II Agenda.
He is already setting this up. Video Included in link.

On CBS this morning, New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg made the case that handguns are more deadly than "assault weapons."

"The truth of the matter is, only about 400 people a year get killed with 'assault weapons' or high-capacity magazines," said Bloomberg, a big proponent of gun control. "That is 400 too many, and they're all tragedies, but you compare that to handguns--pistols this year are going to kill 12,000 Americans. And 19,000 Americans are going to commit suicide with handguns."
Bloomberg brought these numbers up to make the case for stricter background checks on gun buyers.

He needs to be evaluated, something mentally wrong with him. Rifles, soda, load music now oh those bad handguns. Maybe the reason for 19,000 suicides is they can't take his shit no more.

If you take guns away from those 19,000 that are going to commit suicide, does that mean that they won't commit suicide? Is a firearm the only method to offing oneself?
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

If he's going to be listing numbers, and keep a count then he should put out a complete long ass list.
Tell us how many die for cars, drugs, knifes, steel pipes, hammers, stairs the list could go on forever.

For those who are still thinking "compromise". Notice that once Bloomberg got his modern sporting arms ban along with his magazine restrictions it did not take long to shift his attention to handguns. Bolt action "sniper" rifles along with pump action shotgun won't be far behind. There is no compromising with these people. Your second amendment rights will be limited to single shot rifles and shotguns is these people are allowed to get their way.

Absolutely right. And then no more single shots. That's their agenda. This shit has to stop now.

Yup, then once we get to there he'll try for the single shot firearms as well, he won't be happy till we're all disarmed

A good friend of mine committed suicide one year ago this month with a gun. I don't think anyone blamed the gun or fooled themselves by thinking he would not have found another way if a gun was not available. The suicide stat and blaming them on guns has never made sense to me.

Agree. No matter how left you are... How does someone not see that as "I banned something that didn't need banning after I made a big tado..." Who the hell left as left gets wouldn't question his statement above after what the laws have become because of him..
