CC Question!
Can someone with a valid PA CC permit carry a pistol that is legally registered to someone else? What are the laws concerning this (if there are any)?
Thanks

Re: CC Question!
Yes, the one borrowing the firearm has to have an LTCF the lender does not (I am not sure how it applies if the lender is out-of-state though)...

In PA, there is no "legal" registration of firearms...

Neither of the above means that some LEO may not roust you over it - interpreting the law in their own way (or making one up).
Also, welcome to PAFOA...Last edited by Kurt_D; March 8th, 2013 at 07:37 PM.

Re: CC Question!
Where is it legally registered? Not in PA. Sounds like you want to carry a friends gun from another state for him to make it legal in pa. I think that is a gray area. More info needed.

Re: CC Question!
Both parties must be PA residents and the one accepting the loan needs a PA LTCF

Re: CC Question!
Thanks for this information. We were having this conversation at our local gun club. This question was posted for PA residents with LTCF. One member insisted that a pistol or revolver could not be legally lent to another person within the state of PA! I did not think that this was correct so I posted here for the answer.
Again thanks to those that have replied with the facts.
