    Default 1873 SAA style .22's

Looking for a SA revolver in .22lr. There are quite a few options out there. Needs to be under $200.

Will be used to teach my nefew's and son(eventually, he's only 3) how to shoot handguns.

I see Puma, Heritage, Chiappa, Cimarron.
Anyone have any of these? Any that I'm overlooking? Again it must be SA, under $200. Having an extra 22wm cylinder is not a factor for me.

    Thoughts? Opinions?

I had a Heritage Rough Rider, 6.5 in. bbl., came with 2 cylinders, a 22lr. and 22 magnum, great gun, fun to shoot with the magnum rounds, i will buy another and don't listen to the bullshit about them being pot metal, they are what they are, a good low cost ssa 22 caliber hand gun, and IF you insist on all steel construction, well they make them too, you just have to spend a little more money for one.

www.gunslingerforum.com, all things Heritage Rough Rider.

    ENJOY.
    Government 99 and 44/100 % pure bullshit.

I picked up a Ruger single six for $160 at the LGS. Probably the best and most bullet proof single action on the market in 22. I have since tossed on a 2.5 fixed power scope for squirrel duty. Came with both cylinders. And of course pics or it didn't happen, right.

Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.

My wife bought the heritage rough rider .22lr, with the 6 inch barrel. It's a good gun for teaching someone the basics, little recoil, lots of fun. It turned my wife over to our side. It was only $175 new at gander mountain too, it's worth it IMO.
I'm faster than Doc Holliday (with Novocaine of course)

unless you buy used, I don't think you'll find anything under $200 except the Heritage revolvers.
