What would you do, and would it be legal?
The following video is fascinating. http://youtu.be/qo6Jzh7SHRA
I hope it was filmed in a location where concealed carry is not permitted, because it might have ended very differently.
And now the question: The elevator door opens up, you see exactly what these people saw. You are legally carrying the weapon that you most often carry.
What would you do?
We will assume that your actions are "morally" defensible, but would you expect to be prosecuted?
Fascinating.

First, I wouldn't go see Dead Man Down.
Second, to play along, you can't assume anything so you can't say you're actions are morally defensible. Call 911 I guess.Fortune fingers the fearless

Plant a boot heel firmly against the attackers face.
It's a little disturbing how many men turned tail, but encouraging how many women jumped right in.

That was pretty dangerous. Someone could have jumped right in and started whaling the shit out of the guy in control.

Re: What would you do, and would it be legal?
I would have been worried that the person with the dogs just let them go to town.
Personally I think I would have drawn and ordered them to stop if they did not retreated to a safer location and called 911. Now of one of them breaks off and attacks me that becomes a different story.
Two reasons why I would not fire in this situation.
One, just because one guy seems to be winning this fight does not mean he was the perpetrator. The fight may have gone back and forth and now the victim has the advantage.
The other is with these two guys wrestling around on the ground like that I would be worried about missing my intended target and hitting the victim. That is if I could somehow be sure who the victim and perpetrator where and I cant.

Very dangerous experiment, I would presume anyway. Seems a lot of people turned tail and ran, it was good to see some get involved though. It also shows none were carrying. Anyway, one thing I do know though is I would have let go of the leashes of those dogs!!! Looks like they wanted in on the fun....LOL
