So did anything pass today on the Senate floor. If so what was voted on and what or if anything was passed.

Always call when time is short. If you haven't noticed, it takes them weeks to respond to emails and letters.

no, the commitee is voting on what their bill is going to be. the senate isn't voting on a bill, they are trying to figure out what will be in the bill.

anyway, they didn't vote on anything and went into recess until Tuesday.

i was trying to watch on c-span.org, but didn't have time really.

I watched it.
They just talked about the bill, seemed to be some good opposition from a few Republican senators.
But when amendments were introduced by one of the Republicans and voted on for making the justice dept. provide a detailed report about what they are doing as far as prosecuting gun crimes(not much!) that was voted down,just too much paper work LOL... And another amendment to exempt military current and retired from the ban, well Di Fi said that she just can't allow that because they have PTSD.
