    Default My first open carry

Actually second. Yesterday I attended the Palmyra oc lunch and had a great time. So today I decided to leave my shirt tucked under instead of over my Crossbreed supertuck holster like I had yesterday. Have never open carried and actually criticize it as I don't have the time or the money to defend my rights if arrested by LEOs that are ignorant of the laws. I also am a non union employee for a local school district and don't want to lose my job.

I first went to the range. I know that don't count. After leaving there, I went to Union Canal tunnel park to check the sign to see who owned it. Because I was told they had a no firearms sign, I left it in the car. Sure enough it is private property so I left.

Next stop, was South Hills park to take pics for the picnic thread. I walked around and took several pics, past a few people, nobody seemed to notice.

My next stop was the beer distributor next to Triangle car was in Lebanon. If the woman noticed she did not let on.

My last stop and the only place I was noticed was the spring water place in Colebrook. I went though Mt. Gretna and when I arrived, someone else was filling up. Her had a truck with Maryland plates. I got my cases of jugs out of the trunk and walked up to the fill station. The other guy there and myself exchanged Hellos and I noticed a heavy NY accent.

We small talked and he said he was a 20 year resident of Gretna. Thought this odd with MD plates and heavy NY accent. About this time he must have noticed my pistol because he asked me if I was leaving using rt 117. I said yes and he said to be careful as a cop was sitting back off the road pretty far. I told him I had seen him on my way in. He didn't act strange or say anything directly about me carrying but as we finished our conversation I did notice him glance down.

That was it. Now I need a OWB holster.

    Good Job TBS!

    After a while....it'll be like 2nd nature!

A good belt and a good OWB holster will serve you well.
