.22 rimfire problems
I need some info on a Marlin Model 81 tube magazine I have a problem with the weapon ejecting fired or unfired rounds also stock is a freaking mess some idiot destroyed the stock one side the right is completely gone period people are stupid when comes to firearms who ever owned this gun was a stupid jerk very dumb I went o gunparts Kingston NY for breakdown of parts this model 81 is alot like 781 Marlin but each diagram showes only clip type Models not a listing for a Tub feed the Model 80 was a clip 81 was not iwill take shorts,longs,and Long rifle as well you folks in Pa having problems in getting .22 Long rifle Ammo?
here in NY it is impossible to get any anywhere!!!

I would take a look at the extractor.
As for Ammo, yeah it's been pretty scarce. If you look around you can find what your looking for with a little patience.FOAC Member, NRA Member

I have a Marlin 60, which is also tube-fed, that will not eject properly like you described if I am using the wrong ammo. For my gun, the wrong ammo is Remington and Winchester. That stuff just simply does not run in my gun. Try getting some CCI standard velocity. If that doesn't work, try the mini-mags with higher velocity.
Willing to bet that half of the problem is the ammo.

EVERYONE is having issues with finding ammo.
Normal people are having a hell of a time finding ammo at decent prices if at all. Or people trying to take advantage of the situation and buying everything up just to resell it at higher prices.
