    Default Coyote problems!

There is nothing like waking up to the sounds of screaming coyotes at all hours of the night.

But that doesn't bother me too much. However, for my neighbors with toddlers it does. My fiancé live in an old house tucked neatly way on a private drive converted into three apartments. Our neighbors below her are concerned with the amount of coyotes around the house. This morning they were brave enough to be on the porch at sunrise. Knowing that I'm an avid firearms owner and hunter. They have asked if I can remedy the problem. And my answer was, "ya know? Let me get back to you."

Now comes the question. The house is situated nicely between Phoenixville pa and valley forge park. I have no idea if its legal for me to take game there. Is any one familiar with wmu's and what if any I might be in? I assume they are out of luck and that I can't bag these guys, but I was hopin for a definitive answer from someone wiser than I.

    Who has any thought?

    A few key ingredients:

    a. Good .223 or .243.
    b. AAC 762-SDN, Gemtech HVT, or YHM Phantom
    c. PVS-14
    d. Hornady V-Max, Speer TNT, or Sierra Blitzking

These are good suggestions for just about anywhere else in the state. That area is in Special Regulations area, which means no centerfire rifle.

As far as the regs for Coyote:

COYOTES: No closed season. Unlimited. Outside of any big game season (deer, bear, elk and turkey), coyotes may be taken with a hunting license or a furtaker license, and without wearing orange. During any big game season, coyotes may be taken while lawfully hunting big game or with a furtakers license.

Thanks for the response! Haha oh I def. have the ammunition. .223 hornady will be the concoction. I need to know legalities. Hahaha not interested in losing my freedom and rights to do these things over a few coyotes!

    dwalk

No center fire rifle in special regulations area. That's what I need to know. Does that mean no firearms? Or will .22mag be acceptable? Archery? Thanks!

Archery/rimfire/shotgun/muzzleloader all acceptable in the special regs area. but if you're going to do archery or muzzleloader, you need to pay for the appropriate stamp in addition to just your hunting license.

So as it stands, with my valid hunting license, I can use rim fire firearms to take these yotes because there is no closed season, and they are unlimited. Correct?

dwalk. Fantastic info. I usually hunt up north in 3B and 2G areas so I'm a little unfamiliar with it all down here. Thank you so much for the wisdom!
