delco permit issue time

Does anybody know if they mail out renewal forms/letters and if so when? I'm up in three months and have moved since I got it. I know I could go two months before, just wondering if anything is going to my old address.

I have received renewal letters every time I'm up for renewal. Usually about around 2 1/2 to 3 months before. If you didn't give them your new address then that's where they'll send it.

Applied for a new one on 5/17/17.
Approved on 5/30/17.
Letter received in the mail on 6/3/17.

The DELCO Sherriff Dept had new software installed on June5. I was the second applicant with the new software.
They told me 6 weeks until I receive the acceptance letter.

Two weeks later I received my acceptance letter.

Just received new black application in mail and letter reminding me that my permit expires in two months. Same old form with space for reference. I don't want to put any reference, did anybody applied without reference part filled out? (long story short, form is outdated, law does not require reference anymore) BUT law is enforced and interpreted by them so I don't want to have heated argument at sheriff office. Thank you.

You can call the Sheriff and ask or just put two friends' info on there.

I put two references now...neither of them were contacted. I heard they may just background check them now. Heard also that they are NOT required and to ask the Sheriff.

Called the Sheriff's office and asked... they still do require references. Guess they're waiting until they're sued themselves.
