Yes, and you will probably be still waiting in 3 weeks.

The backup there is also delaying sign-offs on ATF Form 4's for NFA items..

I handed my app in Jan 24th, and just called them yesterday to get a status. Although the sec would not give me a status over the phone, she did inform me they are not even up to January yet with applications. She told me about another 2-3 weeks.

For those who are interested, I received my approval letter today which was dated 3/4/13. Application date 1/14/13.

Given 30 days to pick up in person at the sheriff's office. Cutting the process close, expiration date on current permit is 3/14.

Yup I got signed off for a couple NFA items - just go in and ask for the Sherriff's secretary Debbie - if she's not there ask for Bridgett - and have your forms completely filled out and your picture attached. She asked for my DL and LTCF and made a copy of them and took my cell #. Dropped off on Thursday AM and got them back the following Wed AM. Bridgett apologized for it taking so long.

FYI - I contacted Radnor PD Supt and asked if he would sign off - he never responded. Sherriff service was prompt and courteous.

I got my prints at Springfield PD (50 powell ave) - $40 if you're not a Springfield resident.
