They must be holding the letters a few days before they send them out

No, DELCO thinks they have 45 business days, not calendar days. No matter how many people tell them differently they continue to work on business days not calendar days. So to them the 56 "days" was still within 45 business days.

I get what your saying, but two days ago they said they were up to March 1st processing, me and AwesomeMarcel applied mid February and still haven't received letters yet. That's why I assumed that they hold the completed apps for sometime... Maybe for the 56days which to them like you said is 45.

They may only be up to March, but the law still says must issue by 45 days as long as no prohibitors pop up.

DELCO (or any county) doesn't get an extension just because they are swamped with applications and behind.

But interpreting the law as business days DELCO is giving themselves a minimum of an extra 16 days (assuming no holidays fall on a business day).

Yea it sucks. But i think I'll end up finding time to go in there to get the status. That's what they keep telling me to do.

Acceptance date was the 8th so either they don't send it out right away or usps took 4 days to get a letter from Media to Wayne.
