Thumbs up perfect encounter @ PetSmart in Newtown, Bucks Co.

the wife and i were on our way home last night from visiting my old man and on the way we decided to stop at PetSmart to get our dog a new I.D. tag for his collar. we stopped in 15 min before closing so we were trying to hurry as to not hold up the employees from closing the store, and as several of the cashiers were petting the dog and making a fuss over him (he's a Doberman Pinscher) one of the female employees turned to one of the other female cashiers and pointed to my gun and made the comment "don't you feel safer with him in here?". i was OCing my FN five-seven on my hip at about the 4 o'clock position. at first, i was taken a bit off guard by the comment but she was genuinely appreciative of my OC. we chatted briefly and i thanked her for the nice comment and she thanked me for OCing. as we paid and went to leave she said thank you again and stated that she hopes that the law never changes about OC and we need to fight the Politicians trying to infringe our rights.

overall it was a great encounter and i will be going back as i didn't catch her name so i can give her a a nice report on one of those customer survey things.

I thought for certain this was going to end with a ventilated cat.

    Still, good story!

It is really interesting how much it has increased the amount of women who have become educated about firearms and the politics surrounding firearms issues, i see a great increase in awareness on the part of women.

Good encounter, hope you have more of them, please do a favor, instead of "old man", go with my father, or my dad, i was taught that to refer to your father or dad as the old man, was a sign of disrespect.
    Government 99 and 44/100 % pure bullshit.
