Where to shoot?
Alright, having an issue here. I need to find a place to shoot my new pistol. I'm not looking to go everyday but maybe a couple times a month. All the clubs I've looked at Columbia, Mt Joy, Penn Dutch, etc. either aren't taking members or have a huge wait list. I would like to shoot now, not "possibly" later on when a club is looking for members.
I know of the state range but I've been hearing bad stories about SGL242 up there by Dillsburg, and last thing I need is drama when I'm trying to shoot. especially when I'd be driving over an hour to get there, plus I don't have a printer to print the damn permit. Freedom Armory, ehhhh. It seems awful damn expensive when you figure gas/ammo/annual dues/range fees just to shoot a couple times a month.. and they are the cheapest I could find that offers a range to the public.
Frustrated, got this gun and have had no oppurtunity to shoot.

Re: Where to shoot?
I was not aware Penn Dutch put a ceiling on membership, but heard they were talking about it. They took in new members at their last meeting, I was there. You might check Milton Grove out. Good luck.

Re: Where to shoot?
We have a little club down in East Petersburg. Nothing fancy. Pistol range out to 25 yrds.
All outdoors. A real nice group of guys and gals. As far as I know, the membership is open. If you would like some info, let me know.
There is also a private indoor range in West York."When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.-Thomas Jefferson

Re: Where to shoot?
50 and 100 yrds. need range officer to shoot 100 yrds as the bench is behind the firing line for the other distances.
