I am a member at both Mt. Joy Sportsman and Milton Grove.

I prefer Milton Grove, though once Mt. Joy puts their new range im with the 3 sided berm and steel targets, I think I'll only renew one range the following year...

I am a member of Mt Joy, but never go to meetings, it seems. When are the three sided berms and steel targets being put in? Also are steel targets for pistol, rifle or both? And range of steel targets? Thanks for any info.

Aiming to break ground in spring and have it done by summer.

I'm not sure but I think rifle will be allowed (but don't quote me on that).

Once that's done they're also replacing the old back stops in the downstairs shooting range so that fmj ammo will be allowed rather than just lead nose.

Southern Lancaster County Farmer-Sportsmen's association near Quarryville has rifle ranges up to 300 yards. The pistol ranges go out to 50 yards plus there are four trap houses. However, they're approaching their 2200 member cap so new memberships will not be available soon.

Check out Manheim Sportsman. We have an indoor pistol range, 25yd outdoor range, and a rifle range out to 200. I've been there for about six months and I've been very happy.

I'm a member of quite a few clubs and as far as Lancaster County clubs go Southern Lancaster is on the top of the list.No bull shit rules about mag limits, pistol drills from the holster,"tactical" targets etc... its big enough you can allmost always have your own pistol bay, guest policy is great, and a 200yd and the new 300yd range makes for some good rifle work.
