I just badgered staffer "Mike" who answered the phone about clarifying the quote. I read it to him, and asked if it was true. He said no, he does not support a ban, but I had to ask three times, as he just wanted MY opinion first (which I didn't give). After getting that clarification I reiterated that we are watching what he does very closely, and all the other appropriate 2A boilerplate.

Call, call, call. It ties up staffers and gets logged faster.

Doesn't anyone here question the validity of the "story" in the paper ? The "story" is I call fitzpatrick's office and a staffer told me X. Sounds to me like an anti just making things up to stir the pot.
