If you can rent outside of the city I live in meridian it's quiet and neighbors don't bother you. The city is being over run by welfare people IMO

    What town isnt?

So anywhere outside of downtown? I dont think I have ever been there in my life. Maybe in passing through, but that is it. And trust me, we have TONS of wellfare people in Uniontown.

You don't want to live in downtown Butler even in the so-called nicer sections. It's like any city now and is full of low-lifes, druggies and such. Towns and areas south of Butler along the Rt. 8 and Rt. 356 corridor are starting to build up and the home prices reflect that growth. East towards Kittanning, north towards Slippery Rock, and west towards New Castle are your best bet.

Yeah I'd suggest rt8 south of city, rt8 north of city, anywhere on 356, or 68

I live on 68 just west of town. I'm close to everything. Recommend west of downtown

As far as apartments go it seems Slippery Rock is all college type dorms that want ~400 per person, etc...

    The others are slim pickens.

I would appreciate if anyone knows any landlords that rent to a small responsible family in a good area, to let me know please.

    I freaking HATE moving...

There's a string of apartment complexes and rental properties along Whitestown Road between Fairground Hill (where Butler High School is) and Duffy Road. That gets you west near 68 that someone else mentioned. There's also some rental places in Meridian, which is where I grew up, but I believe turnover is pretty low.

You might want to try out my way, farther west on Rt. 68 - Evans City, Zelienople, Harmony. It's a little farther drive to Butler. But the good thing is you're right off I-79, so you've got quick & easy access to the whole Pittsburgh area. Since we're right off the highway, we do things around Pittsburgh all the time; it doesn't seem like we're 30 miles away from downtown.
