Re: surplus city feasterville
Yes Ted and the guys are great. I have purchased a few weapons from there. And actually have a deposit on one that I am going to get. It's my new place to shop for guns. And being that I am from the city, I save money on the taxes and can usually purchase an accessory or a box of rounds for what I have saved. Best place to go and talk guns too if you are knowledgeable or seeking knowledge about something in particular. Always a great selection. However you have to be quick when new shipments come in. Call or stop by. Usually when they tell you something is coming, it is a matter of a couple of days. And if you don't get your bid in you'll be s.o.l.

Re: surplus city feasterville
My wife and I stopped in for the first time the other night, and the guys seemed nice enough. It was kind of weird having 6 people behind the counter though in such a small shop.
We browsed and the prices seemed ok on firearms, ammo prices were a bit inflated and there was a one box maximum on 9mm (but most places do this lately.)
Nothing happened that would prompt me not to come back there when looking for another gun.

Re: surplus city feasterville
I picked up a nice Ruger SR9c for only $350 tonight after stopping in to browse. Great service and prices. This was the fourth gun I have bought there.

Their FB page was updated with more ammo and another 10 6920's coming into stock.
I need to get me down there some day soon.

Re: surplus city feasterville
I was happy to pay $125 on Saturday for my new-to-me 91/30. The 5-6 on the rack were all in great shape.
Rob is a great guy and always takes care of me. Between my own purchases and referrals I've given them business on nearly 20 firearms.

Re: surplus city feasterville
I picked up one of the 6920's yesterday for $1375. If anyone is going there to get one, make sure you look over it very thoroughly because after I got home to clean it, I noticed a few small knicks in the finish on the lower. Normally wouldn't be a big deal but they're down to bare metal and it was a brand new gun.
I called them an hour after I left and the guy on the phone basically told me too bad, there's nothing we can do because there test fired at the factory and that's how they came. I guess overall it is my own fault but I would think that they'd be a little more helpful after I just dropped $1600 in their store.
So needless to say, I'm quite disappointed because I've bought at least 6 guns from them myself and referred others that have probably bought another 7-8 in just the last couple years but this just might be my last purchase from them. If anyone knows these guys personally, maybe you can see what they have to say about it but I'm pretty disgusted by this whole situation.Last edited by boomer_aaa; March 20th, 2013 at 03:25 PM.
