    Post House Bills Summary Sheet

This is NOT all inclusive, it is a one page sheet used in tonight's meeting that I thought may be a helpful handout, so putting it up for all to have.

    http://www.paresponsiblecitizens.org...ls Summary.pdf

The first url on the bottom of the page will get you to the legislative page that lets you look up bills and/or your legislators.

Many thanks to all those who help put this info together!

Would HB0475 (Firearm Freedom Act) also cover full automatics and suppressors (along with other NFA-items) if they are manufactured in Pennsylvania?

    Good question.

From US v Miller (Wiki version): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_v._Miller

The U.S Government appealed the decision and on March 30, 1939, the U.S. Supreme Court heard the case. Attorneys for the United States argued four points:

    • The NFA is intended as a revenue-collecting measure and therefore within the authority of the Department of the Treasury.
    • The defendants transported the shotgun from Oklahoma to Arkansas, and therefore used it in interstate commerce.
    • The Second Amendment protects only the ownership of military-type weapons appropriate for use in an organized militia.
    • The "double barrel 12-gauge Stevens shotgun having a barrel less than 18 inches in length, bearing identification number 76230" was never used in any militia organization.

Neither the defendants nor their legal counsel appeared at the Supreme Court. A lack of financial support and procedural irregularities prevented counsel from traveling.[3] Miller was found shot to death in April, before the decision was rendered

HB0517 stated a ban on semi handguns as well. Would this mean all semi auto hand guns. or only those that have a military features.

No doubt that is where it would lead, regardless of the clever wording and "has at least two of the following" garbage...

It would be illegal to own pistol grips or any of the "scary awb" components, even if not on the firearm.

In any case, it would be like trying to ban multiple person cars without actually being allowed to do so. "Any multi-wheel conveyance with more than 3 wheels, but not limited to 4 wheels, capable of occupation by more than one person, with each having at least 13" wide space available, or having the ability to accommodate a typical buttock-shaped object"

Then it would be changed to eliminate the "wheel" portion and viola! No horses, no cars, no train, no planes, etc. Just what they wanted- everybody walks.

Besides, what part of Article I, Section XXI, "...Shall not be questioned" is unclear?

WE are on the side of Right, with our position ALREADY in the Constitution! It isn't even as though we need to CHANGE the Constitution to allow our Rights.

The Anti-Constitutional proponents and legislators either have a reading comprehension problem, or just have no scruples whatsoever.

How about a Constitutional Amendment that says, "If you insist on introducing Anti-Constitutional bills, you and your district will be EXPELLED from the Commonwealth as TRAITORS" ?
