    I've seen blown up guns but this one takes the cake.

    That's made the rounds here a few times. It's always a good reminder to remove your boresighter.

    We always have quite a lot of power in our hands when we have any gun or ammo. Its nearly a controlled explosion. Anything inhibiting the gases to do what they're meant to do will end badly.

    Great reminder to always make sure to let the gun work as it was built. Hopefully the guy didn't have any permanent damage.

    you would think back pressure from the bore sight. but that type is a held in with friction from o-rings over a mandrel. i think that one has a magnet to hold it in place.

    could there be more to the story?
