Default Value of a Norinco Underfolder 7.62

I have the chance to purchase a Norinco Underfolder its in good shape only has a few rounds through it. Whats the going rate on these things? I know the generic answer is whatever someone is willing to pay. Just looking for a ball park.

If a true underfolder (and not a post-1989 "conversion"), $800 would be on the low end. There's one on gunbroker now that's already passed eight bills and climbing.

And early import (example: 1984-ish AKS47 with black fiberglass furniture, marked "CLAYCO") would easily bring twice that.

Just make sure you know whether it's a pre-'89 or post 89 import. The presence of a bayonet lug & threaded muzzle would be a good indicator it's a true pre-1990.

i recently sold my nib norinco 56s for $1600. before all the madness started after the CT incident 56's were going for about 1200+/- depending on condition. i sold it rather quickly and probably could have held out for 1800 or maybe 2000 but I thought 1600 was a good price and I didn't want to be greedy. if i still had a 56s to sell i wouldn't sell it for less than 1200 regardless the political climate.

A true preban 56S in used condition will go for $1,200-$1,400 these days.

A NIB unfired with accessories will fetch you close to $2,000.

    If it's a postban conversion....$800 tops.

As others have mentioned. Important factors are:
    - Pre-ban or post-ban (also caught during ban or MAKs)
    - Original or conversion
    - Box and accessories or not

btw .. some post-ban have threaded muzzles.

In these times it's hard to say but my guess ...

    Post ~$1000
    Pre ~$1600
    MAK ~$800
