I need to pick up a tool to tighten the screw on the shockwave blade but left the instructions at home. Can anyone tell me
    What size it is?

    Edit: never mind. Found it.

    I'm searching...

I found this regarding the screw itself:

    5/16x18
You can use a thumb screw about 1 1/4" or so to replace it.
Gonna grab my allen wrenches and see which one fits...

    Found my instruction sheet!

    Use a 5/32" hex key/wrench

I saw this as well. Someone suggested a thumb screw.
Not a bad idea. Mine loosens just a bit. I'm going to Loktite it once I have determined the best setting for me, but that's not a bad idea if you can live with the appearance. Seems a bit ghetto.

Thanks EM, found a photo of the instructions online before I went to home lowes depot of fun. Put the brace on tightened it down and not sure I really needed the tube. I don't have an armors wrench so I haven't installed the new tube yet

Rocketfoot - Have you had a chance to take your new build out yet? I have the 10.5" setup and the KAK f.c. actually surprised me with no noticeable muzzle blasts or crazy increase in sound. Excited to see how the 7" works out now that I decided to grab that size as well.

Nice Setup btw, really liking those irons!

    Cool. ^^^

After building my first pistol, I now want a 9mm pistol.
Gonna have to get in line though because there are two others in front of it.

Thomask, are you planning to come to the group shoot? If so, I'd like to check out that Strike Industries curved fore grip.
I was thinking of getting one for my pistol. Not sure what I want to do - one of those, a hand stop, or nothing at all.

I won't be there for April's shoot unfortunately as I have a prior engagement all day (diabetes fund raiser for a friend) but I hope to attend future shoots for sure.

I highly, highly recommend the S.I. angled fore grip - its all aluminum, slender, comfortable to position your hand multiple ways and over-all, the color catches the eye. My pictures truly don't do it justice. If you want, later today after I get home from work I can send you closer pics of the fore grip vs. my magpul fore grip on my 16" build.

S.I. has been coming out with a lot of products that I'm definitely interested in getting once my funds are replenished. I think the red set I have will go back on my 10.5" upper and for my new 7" I'm going to go with S.I. grey line of products. Or perhaps go with the black/regular line and maybe cerakote the receivers grey...who knows - there's just too many options!

a 9mm pistol would definitely be a sweet addition!
