I had this one and thought it was neat but more useless without a stock, so I parted it out, just wasn't my thing.

It's an AAC 9" 300blk upper on a pretty plain lower. Looking through an Aimpoint PRO and has a Streamlight TLR-1 HP light on the front. Had to put an extra rail riser under the light so it'd clear the AAC 762SDN-6. The goop around the charging handle seals it so that I don't get face-fulls of gas when firing suppressed.

I really love the chrome BCG that comes with the AAC upper - makes cleaning such a breeze.

Here it is as it hangs on the wall this evening:

edit: Oh, and the soft stuff on the buffer tube is from my mom - she knitted and felted it for me

I used bike handlebar tape (cork type). Wrapped the same way as a handlebar, working from the end toward the receiver. Taped it off with good electrical tape (used duct tape in photo). Charging handle clears, no problem. A short piece lays over the end of the R.E, then start wrapping the tape over this piece to secure it. That is why the end is thicker, which is not in the way of the C.H.

My current favorite tube is from Phase 5 which comes with the foam already: http://www.phase5tactical.com/produc...l-buffer-tube- . Phase 5 parts are top notch in my book. Extremely well-made, fits perfectly and looks nice.

This is a shot of my AR57 pistol on an RRA lower that I sold. I used paracord instead of foam. I really like that setup and paracord allows you to color coordinate with the rest of your pistol.

Took me a while of dredging through receipts, but take your pick:

No problem, always happy to share some gun tidbits. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you want to know how I mounted the saddle stock. (it doesn't just screw on)

There's yarn out there, tell her to get to work.
