Re: N. Atherton Walmart ammo update
Anyone know when they stock the shelves? I went in at 9am and they didn't have anything.
They do have a bunch of CCI 400 small rifle primers though, and a bunch of powder.

Re: N. Atherton Walmart ammo update
Be careful at Walmart, my girlfriend recently went in and purchased 3 boxes of 9mm at the sporting goods department and paid in that department. She had to do some other shopping in the store. While she was shopping someone took the bag with ammo out of her cart and made off with it. She did let the store manager know and they later found it in the men's fitting room. Sounds like someone thought about stealing it but didn't have the ball to actually leave the store with it.

Re: N. Atherton Walmart ammo update
Having not had checked Walmart ammo display case for several months, I swung by the North Atherton store yesterday. While there wasn't any .22LR or 9mm to be had, most all other calibers seemed to be in stock, albeit only a few boxes of each for the most part. There was even a box of either a .25 or .32 ACP, don't recall which. HOWEVER, I didn't like what I was seeing nevertheless. They were expensive -- .223 and .45 ACP FMJ at $25 for 50 rds, .40 S&W at $20 for 50 rds; assorted lower-tier brass-cased hunting cartridges (Fed PowerShok, Winchester X, Remington Core-Lokt) were $24.xx and up. IIRC, those rifle rounds, for example, were about 33% to 50% higher than Dec 2012, and almost doubled their prices since 2008, when BHO was first elected. Even the WWB 7.62mm NATO rounds cost $22.xx a box of 20. Those were the same rounds that I thought to be not cheap enough at $11.99 per box to buy more than 3 boxes of merely 2 years ago at Grice..... Now I wish I had gotten a couple cases of them back then. If this is what the "New Normal" is, I am not liking it a bit. And then now there are talks of possible shortage of the (relatively) cheap steel-case rounds due to the Ukraine crisis.....
