I was out there two weeks ago. Ammo was very expensive like 420 rounds of 223 for 380+tax, and there was a limit of 1 per family, per month. Other stuff has a 3 box limit per caliber I think. So I would guess you would be disappointed. Bob's was pretty cleared out.

Thanks for the updates. It sounded much worse than the spring of 2009 (as if we didn't already know). How do they enforce the per family, per month ammo rationing? Doesn't seem feasible to me that the rule can be enforced...

I did a transfer at Belding & Mull yesterday and they had a variety of ammo there, tho the main calibers like 9mm, 45 ACP, and .223 were quite limited. They did have a choice of .308 ball for tolerable prices. Additionally, there was quite a selection of powder for anyone who reloads. I was kinda in a hurry so I could get to work so I didn't get to make a detailed report of everything, but it's definitely worth a stop if anyone's in the neighborhood.

I'm not sure how they monitor the ammo sales because i got a couple of boxes with no questions asked maybe they are using the trust system.i forgot about belding and mull great place for smokless and black powder.Another place to check is L.B Toneys Alamo gun shop in dubois on beaver drive
