I picked up my VEPR 7.62x39 yesterday from my LGS, ordered from K-VAR............................................... ................... IT. IS. GORGEOUS.

Absolutely gorgeous, and built like an absolute tank. (Weighs about the same as one too, but I love it).

Then today I received my VEPR 30round magazines.....

How accurate is it? Say shooting @ 50 yards. I thought about one, but i haven't even taken my ak out of the safe for 2 years, and I think that's what would happen to something like this.

I haven't taken it to 50 yards yet, but pretty close... I'd say between 30-40 yards with open sights... I have not missed one shot yet when shooting things like crushed soda cans etc, and can put a real nice group on a target. I'm a relatively new shooter, so I'd say the rifle is very accurate IMO. It cycles extremely smooth and has very little recoil. It will pull upwards if you are shooting rapidly, but the recoil in your shoulder is almost nonexistent. Definitely feels and shoots like AK royalty. I'd imagine if you went and shot one somewhere, you would fall in love.

I'm jealous, Ive been drooling over the 54r 23 inch and have been wanting one for a while. Just can't afford it right now.
