Re: Belly Band?
I have one for when carry any other way would not work. It conceals really well, but I found it to be very hard to draw your weapon if you had to get to it fast.
My opinion, If you have no other option it's better than leaving your gun at home.

Re: Belly Band?
Thanks.I have been considering one since it would allow me to hide it well under a shirt. Even holsters like the Crossbreed show clips on you belt. I work with a lot of customers and many are part of the "Green" crowd. As you know many of that ilk tend towards "progressive" views on the 2a.

Re: Belly Band?
I have one but I learned after some trial and error that firearms don't like it very much. I have issues with the front sight hooking on the bottom of it when I try to draw it. If I had a pistol that fit it, I might use it more.

They're hot when it's even just a little warm out and you'll find yourself adjusting it a lot.

Re: Belly Band?
Great feedback! I too have been contemplating getting one of these for times when I am in sweats and just need to shoot to Wawa real quick. I think I will stick with just putting my wife's 380 in my pocket and save the money from a belly band investment.

Re: Belly Band?
I usually pocket carry a 380 but I think I might pick one up for certain occasions.
Thanks for the feedback

Re: Belly Band?
I have one of those Smart Carry thingies that's just the ticket for elastic-waisted pants like sweats and shorts. As a test, I wore it on a trip to Philly (100 miles) and a stroll through the Italian Market and Reading Terminal. It was very comfortable, especially while sitting down in the car, but I must say, you couldn't draw your piece with the same speed as shown in their demo videos (I'm not built like those people ). I've worn it most times in the summer, while sitting on the front porch in the evening wearing those jammy-like pants (bugs, ya know) and with an elastic waistband, you can present your weapon remarkably quickly.

Re: Belly Band?
They work for small pistols but there are betters options. Pro: Flexible on carry position. Con: Tend to shift a lot. Hot. Do not last long.
