I wanted to have someway to secure my handgun in my car just in case ( post office etc.). I bought a night vision goggle box at a gun show that is lined with foam. Installed a heavy duty hasp and ran a plastic coated cable through the supports in my trunk. Now I can lock up my handgun if needed and move the box out off the way when not needed. This is only for quick storage,didn't cost much either.
