Default Smith & Wesson - Contact your Rep. Page

I did a search and didn't find this posted. Looks like S&W has gone the route of Ruger and given us a one-form-do-it-all-contact your national and state representatives web page. I just used and and like the Ruger site it's simple.

Cool. Thanks for posting. I haven't seen Smith and Wesson's before. Glad they're stepping up too...the more the merrier.

I got it too. Just wanted to see if anybody else got it before I sent it in.

Good to know they are stepping up. I will add it to the daily list to send out emails!

    Thanks S&W

Done! I find it very "funny" that the Ruger and S&W sites list Obama and Biden as recipients of these emails. Kind of like asking Bill Maher to be a funny, conservative Christian.

Yeah that kind of struck me as funny also.

Did you send a reply asking when S&W is going to move out of anti gun Massachusetts?

S&W emailed me the page last night. I guess I got it because I have purchased parts online from them in the past. I contacted my reps via the S&W page last night as well as Ruger's several times.

Good to see that they are starting to get with it. I hope they see that other companies are taking it to the next step by not selling to the government in blatantly anti steps and follow suit.

    Greetings,

Just an FYI here. I've primarily been writing directly to all my reps (US and PA). I did use the Ruger page once though. I received a few replies from my PA reps stating they preferred their constituents to use the contact forms at their web sites.

The reason (a good one I think) was they get a boat load of SPAM, much of it from similar automated programs like those used by Ruger and S&W. So, if you want to be sure your message gets through, take a bit of extra time to do it via the individual web page forms. To save some effort, you can just paste the same text into each one; it's really not that difficult and may help.

    Regards, Jim
