    Default Keystone Cops friendly-fire shooting

Police go to a domestic dispute call in Baldwin Borough after the caller tells them they don't need to come. Man opens the door with a milk jug in one hand, police tell him to show his hands, he tries to close the door. The police response? One officer fires two rounds from his patrol rifle, hitting another one in the back, and a third officer fires a round into the house for good measure. Officers on administrative leave, no charges yet against the resident.

Remind me again why only the police and military are qualified to carry guns?

Wait wait, cops making a bad shoot? Nooooooo.

fires two rounds from his patrol rifle
But but...ONLY THE POLICE NEED ASSALT CLIPZ!!

THIS is why WE(you know us 'civilians') NEED our semi-auto rifles. Returning fire would have been justified IMHO. Whoever did it would be full of holes or imprisoned for life but justified.

I get banned every few months here for expressing satisfaction when a bad cop gets shot, wish this was one of those times.

Keep these coming. I have a buddy on Facebook that keeps insisting that only the police are trained well enough to carry firearms. These just make him crazy.

You're calling him a bad cop, and you're happy his bonehead fellow officers shot him? Really?
(edit - mis-read your post, I see you're just saying he should have been shot by the resident, as if that's any better.)

This is probably nothing more than a double brain-fart. But when it comes to gun control, the libtards suddenly revere the police. The police are the only ones qualified to handle guns, not us. Even though we know that their gun handling, safety, and marksmanship skills are no better than ours, and sometimes worse.

Funny, the girl that called told the 911 operator that the situation was under control and that they didn't need to come. Wonder how she felt after they shoot up her house? To serve and protect, lol!

You wish you'd get banned? Why do you keep coming back? I think we could all do without posts like yours.

It definitely changes the equation. "Who's more likely to shoot me - my boyfriend or the police? Eenie meenie miney moe..."

Your opinion, yes, however not a very well thought out one. Shooting at which of the four officers one the scene would have been justified (in your humble (and rather uneducated) humble opinion!?) was one of the officers on scene conducting himself in a manner outside of his training? We don't know that yet, was there a firearm malfunction? Again we don't know that yet, did someone possibly slip and fall on some ice resulting in an negligent discharge? Again we done know that yet. So, until all of the details of the incident have been released PLEASE, refrain from your extremely uneducated pontificating on this matter.
