Default Local man buys 200,000 AR's.

If you can believe a local newspaper, in this case the Feb. 10 edition of the Press Enterprise from the Bloomsburg, PA area a local man, Jamie Nolan, mortgaged his house to get enough money to buy 250,000 guns, 80 percent of which were AR's. Jami is apparently a local gun dealer and made good on his investment by purchasing these firearms just prior to Obama's reelection.

Jami maxed out his credit cards and took out a home equity loan to make the buy.

Can you imagine the profit this man is making? What foresight he had. The paper I cited has him in a picture at the Benton gun show held on Saturday 2/9/13. I can count at Least 13 AR style rifles in the picture. The price tag on one of Nolan's AR's at the show yesterday was $3,500.

    250K guns x $3500 a pop = $875M

If this is true, I'm a little jealous and a little disappointed. I'm jealous about him having the foresight and conviction to put himself in a position to make a profit, but I'm disappointed if he is truly asking $3500 for what was an $800-$1000 dollar gun. I understand and I am all for making a profit, but that much of a jump on that many unduly affects and artificially inflates the price of every gun in its class. My big question is if I'm reading it right....did he buy 230,000 ar's, or did he buy $230,000 dollars worth of ar's? There's a big difference between 230,000 ar's and 230 ar's worth a grand each.

I think some reported slipped a decimal or three Let's say he paid $500 for each of the guns. Multiply by 200,000 and you've still got a cool $100 million investment.

    I call B.S.

Him buying $25,000 worth of guns is more believable.

Even better who's paying $3500.00? I have some swampland for sale..

Not likely he invested that amount if he was "maxxing his credit cards". $100Million is not invested by "credit cards."

Just to let you know I did quote the paper correctly...... He bought 250,000 guns, 80 percent of which were AR style weapons. This is what the paper said.

Well this is either an example of a genius or piss poor reporting. Maybe both!

Well if it's been reported in the liberal media; it has to be true.
Go sell crazy some where else, we're all stocked up here.

Trust me, the Bloomsburg Press Enterprise is hardly liberal....
