Default Logans Ferry Regulators Cowboy Action Shooting

Cowboy Action Shooting™ is a multifaceted shooting sport in which contestants compete with firearms typical of those used in the taming of the Old West: single action revolvers, lever action rifles, and side by side double barreled, pre-1899 pump, or lever action shotguns. The shooting competition is staged in a unique, characterized, "Old West" style. Contestants shoot in several one to four gun stages (courses of fire) in which they engage reactive steel targets. Scoring is based on accuracy and speed.

Sign in is between 8:00 AM and 9:15 AM, mandatory safety meeting at 9:30 AM. Shooter fee is $15.00.

The days are few, and Saturday is quickly approaching.. but not quick enough. We kick off the 2013 Cowboy Action Shooting season this Saturday at the Logans Ferry Regulators. We've got a great match setup for all of our CAS friends, and we're using the TV Show "F-Troop" for the match theme.

Five stages of fun and great shooting. Round Count is 50 Pistol, 50+ Rifle, and 16+ Shotgun.

Almost Saturday, and the weather's looking like it's going to cooperate with us for the weekend. We start shooting at 9:30, and invite anybody to stop by and see what Cowboy Action shooting is al about. If you do decide to check us out, eye and ear protection are required.
