5:56 rounds anywhere?
Is there anywhere where I can buy 5.56 rounds for my M4 without paying like 3x the price? I can't find crap for the longest time, took like two months just to find decent AR mags that were like 20$ a pop. Damm politics.....

Gander mountain flyer has Federal for $8.99 a box of 20, Independence for $9.99 a box of 2 for a , and Fiocchi for $24.99 a box of 50. I'm not usually a Gander fan but I haven't seen .223 for less than these prices anywhere else if they actually have it in stock.

Centerfire is raping you for $170 for 200 rounds of Lake city green tip. Thats's $.85c a round. But if you have nothing it's cheap. Oh and they are giving you a freeMRE and a bucket.

Re: 5:56 rounds anywhere?
Dunhams in Du Bois has quite a bit about 10 boxes of Remington, 8 of Federal American Eagle, 5 or 6 Hornady zombie max and a few surplus.
Prices:
Remington $19.99 for 20
Federal $12.99 for 20
Zombie max $26.99 for 20
Surplus $6.99 for 20! Well they had a few boxes of surplus... now they're in my ammo can.
But it'd only be worth it if you had to come out this way.

Re: 5:56 rounds anywhere?
Remember, if your M4 is chambered for 5.56 NATO, then you can safely fire. 223. It doesn't work the other way unless its chambered for. 223 Wylde.
So...5.56 NATO = 5.56 and. 223
.223 = only. 223
.223 Wylde = .223 and 5.56.

For sale in the classified section right now...

There will be plenty again soon.
We've got thousands of cases due in at my work within the next 60 days, and I'm sure most other shops will have it again, too.
