Re: 3 gun shooting in western PA
What kind of shooting are you looking for?
There's a lot of Cowboy Action Shooting. Most include revolver, shot gun, and rifle of the cowboy era. Within that group is also the Wild Bunch shoots that includes the 1911.
Here's a link for more info and other links:

Yes, we do shoot Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS) and Wild Bunch Action Shooting (WBAS) matches at Logans Ferry Sportsmans Club. We'll be starting our CAS season on April 13th (second Saturday of Month), and our WBAS season starts on April 27th (fourth Saturday, April, June, July and August).

We did a USPSA 3 gun match at Castlewood last summer. Pardoe also has regular shotgun or rifle side matches. We're both within an hour of you.

Re: 3 gun shooting in western PA
North Buffalo Sportsmans Club near Slate Lick used to have 3 gun matches several times a year, and IDPA style handgun matches every 2nd Sunday of the month year round.
I havent been involved for over 10 years, but I believe they are still going on and a lot more shooters are showing up.

Thanks everyone !
I'm actually fairly close to the North Buffalo Sportsman Club and will check with them to see if they still hold these events.

I might have.
Haven't tried there yer but the North Buffalo Sportsman Club off Rt 28 exit 18 has tactical shoots each month and some of those are 3-gun.
And the shoots are open to the public.

I'm looking too. USPSA website says Clairton has them but I don't see it on their calendar yet.

Re: 3 gun shooting in western PA
That's because some clubs run side matches or allow the regular pistol match to be run multi-gun or with 3-gun. It will likely be on the same day as the regular rmatch.
Within 90 min of Pittsburgh, you're going to have a LOT of opportunities if you keep your eyes open.
Some clubs differ in flavor. Pardoe often shoots rifle out to 300 yards while other clubs keep the rifles in the pistol bays.
