Should the President lead by demonstration?
If the president is asking for us to give up our guns,,,,, should he not lead by example and have his SS agents give up their guns? And then make sure that none of the SS agents carry when protecting Senators or Representatives? Surely they can muscle down any threat if we are all unarmed. Then he could have the FBI turn in all their guns. And then he could have the Military turn in all of theirs. And lastly, the police would have to give up all their weapons. At that point the only ones with guns would be the criminals and the terrorists. They shouldn't be that hard to spot, they would have guns.... just lock them up.
Yeah,,,, that's the ticket.............George,
So many guns, so little money.

Re: Should the President lead by demonstration?
OP, you jest in having our Military Lock up their guns right? LMAO
You probably don't know but all Military Weapons are locked in vaults and alarmed 99% of the time. Very few military personnel have permission to carry weapons...mostly MP's and criminal investigator types. The rest of us no good bastards aren't to be trusted and can only "TOUCH" them under approved circumstances.

Yes,,,, I've been military and I know that ya can't have a weapon wiffout permission...... Your not capable of making that kind of decision...
EDIT: reread the post,,,,, lock up the terrorists & criminals,,,,,, not the military lock up their guns.Last edited by thundrr1; February 11th, 2013 at 10:18 PM.

I can picture it now.
Gun owners being forced to pay a monthly fee for some Gov. agency to store our guns for us because we cannot be trusted with them. Everytime we want to use our guns we have to pick up our gun, pay a fee, and do a little song and dance. If we are good little boys and girls maybe they would let us go a huntin.

Re: Should the President lead by demonstration?
Lead? Are you kidding me? How screwed up is it that being the self confessed drug user he is (was), if he was honest on the question sheet, he probably could not carry or buy a firearm. Yet he has a key and codes to launch missiles that could destroy the world.
Oh yea, and you can't have a semi-auto firearm. The question is, will you be on your feet or your knees?
