    Default Franklin and Marshall Pole

Local news just posted results of Franklin and Marshall pole saying 53% of PA residents support awb and hi cap mag ban - with only 23% I think it was opposing them. WTF !! Who are they asking, everyone in the cities?? I just don't get it, this really sucks.

with Franklin and Marshall's tuition cost, its more so the higher class that attends the school, or people who got great scholarships or people who want almost millions in school loans... they're not the right people to ask at all.. They're probably friends with Joe Biden.

My sister went there for a semester and a half before she realized she could never afford the full tuition... ever.

For a lot of people this is an easy choice. They have never been around them so what that they are banned. Who educates people about the 2A anymore?

Here's how polls work. When pollsters are looking for certain results they have calling lists of those they know or can reasonably expect the surveyed to answer in they way they want to skew the poll. Once they have the results they are looking for they publish the poll and wait for those that pay attention to absorb the results. Then the pollsters change the sampling demographics a small bit to reflect a still skewed poll but the results are still what they aim for it to be and lie about their sampling when questioned. Remember these pollsters are academics, most have no clue or education in Constitutional law or principles and come urban and soft suburban areas.

The best thing in these situations when polls are so skewed like this Franklin and Marshall poll is check to see to what the demographics are of the sampling and it will probably just as you suspect. People that have no connection to firearms from either Philadelphia, Harrisburg or Pittsburgh or one of the left leaning suburbs around those metro areas. They don't sample any of their so called "Alabama" counties in areas away from these metropolitan. Believe me if those polls were true every politician in the state would be on the floor of both houses passing legislation to have the police come and pick up your guns tomorrow.

The way to defeat these lies is to show up at rallies, make phone calls to people you haven't talked to in a while, go to gun club meetings and discuss a course of action, write and call your representatives, make noise about what you think. Don't be discouraged by phony polls.

    G. Terry Madonna is the liberal mouthpiece behind the Franklin & Marshall polls. Once you know who he is, you'll understand that the results of any poll he's running are skewed to give the results he's being paid to produce.

Amazing, a "Liberal Arts" college poll ended up this way. Shocked I tells ya, shocked I am.

Unfortunately, it's the media they watch that is educating them on guns. And its only teaching them that guns do bad things. Sad.

Not only can a poll be manipulated by targetting specific demographics but they can form the questions in a way that they get the answer they desire.

Manipulation of the wording and selecting multiple choice answers that may not be your true answer are ways of steering the poll in the direction they desire.
