    Default Huntington Mills/Shickshinny area

    Greetings everyone. Just found this sight on a google search looking for a defensive pistol class in PA. There any decent public shooting ranges in this area?

    Hello,
    Welcome to the forum.
    I live near the NW high school. Best defensive course I know is Front Sight. I went to the 2 day and 4 day defensive handgun course. But, it is in Nevada.
    I read on this forum there is a course right in Hunlock Creek. The guy has good reviews but i have not attended it.
    The Wilkes shooting club mentioned has a nice range, but you need a member to sponsor you, and I have not found one. I have my own outdoor range. It is cold in the winter though!

    Dynamic Force INstitute is the place near Hunlock. I have not been there, but the reviews seem good.

    Nescopeck rifle club holds a few throughout the year...I am a member and can check on the next upcoming class...I see you're from Huntington mills...I have a farm we deer hunt there off marsh creek road.

    I have attended the Dynamic Force Institute Defensive handgun course and thought it was great. You can find him on the internet and if you would like any other info please let me know.

    Thats on the other side of the creek from me. Seems to be plenty of deer out there this year so far. Cant wait till archery season!!

    My trailcam pics are showing 8 doe and 3 sublegal buck....I archery hunt elsewhere...the farm is our rifle spot..good luck to you!

    Welcome to the forum. There is the WBRP club near you. There is also a SGL public shooting range on pavlick road in Sweet Valley. Since you have your own range i doubt you will need to use the SGL range.

    I believe you meant patla road disturbed...pavlick road is off of rt 29 near ceasetown.
