Seen them years ago in Forest and Warren counties. Friend of mine hit and killed one with his car up there as well.

Re: Bobcats in pa
I heard that they were somewhat quietly introduced into the pocono area to help with the deer population. I thought I saw one, but it turned out to be a brown colored fat fox.
...and they have a plan...

Re: Bobcats in pa
Haven't seen one, but there was a confirmed mountain lion in lower Bucks in about '06/'07 so it wouldn't surprise me to see/hear of a bobcat. I live right across from Tyler park and have seen a coyote and a fisher roaming (along with a million deer, coons, opossums etc) the residential neighborhood.

I saw one in Venango. Right around two summers ago. Actually shocked me because you don't see them too often, especially that close to town.
I'm so fast, I can bump fire a bolt action.

Re: Bobcats in pa
Shared a fallen tree in Dauphin county with one once. Always assumed it was good luck to see one close-up. I fiqured I must be doing something right if a bobcat gets close enough to see. I think it is a privilege to see one and I a'int trying to poke it with no stick.

There have been sightings of Bobcats in the Fairmount Park of Philadelphia at various locations. A coworker of my sister who resides in Overbrook Farms section of Philadelphia was awaken a couple of years ago by a Bobcat in his back yard. He was quite startled.

Been seeing tracks for the last three years in Clearfield County. Was lucky enough to see it from treestand in Bear Season. It was following a flock of turkeys that went through ten minutes earlier. I was real excited.
