Repeat messages
is there ANY way to stop people from posting repeat messages ??
I have seen some of the same old messages repeated time and time again.....
this not occurs in the regular forums but also in the posting for guns for sale....
ONCE should be enough......

Re: Repeat messages
I'm a little unsure what you mean too...
If your talking about duplicate topics, then no. But when you see a duplicate, just push the button and a mod will close/deal with it.

Sure, let me know when you've written a program that can efficiently parse human language, understand the context of the text, and related it to the context of all other language in the database let me know.
Until then, use the report post button if it's that big of a dealDan P, Founder & President, Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association

Re: Repeat messages
What kind of repeat messages are we talking about here? For example, I bump two threads with the same title on Sundays if I'm going to the range, one is in the "Shoots and Range Trip" forum and one in the local "Philadelphia" forum, two threads same title, same message, but in two different places.
Not everyone goes to the "new posts" link, instead they peruse specific forums, that's why I do it that way. IS this the kind of repeat message you guys are talking about?
