Default Concealed Carry at Northampton County Courthouse Experience

So today I had some papers to file at the Northampton County Courthouse and I needed to check my CCW. (lockers must be provided under PA law)

I had a great experience. The officer was very professional and respectful. They did NOT make me feel like a criminal like most courthouses do when you ask to check a CCW. Checked my CCW with no issue. When leaving I had the same experience with the other two officers. They even thanked me for carrying!

I was impressed. It makes me quite proud to live where these fine officers serve!

You should take a little time and express your feelings in an email to the sheriff. Make sure he knows that in polarizing times like these it's nice that his officers can still treat citizens with respect.

Did they still have you go outside and wait for a deputy to lock your firearm up in a case, then take you inside to check it in?
