This Sunday, Feb 10th, Team York will be hosting a Stake Shoot!

This was a real riot last year, you are not going to want to miss the fun. Here is how it works: We split the shooters into teams; the teams then come to a common firing line 2 teams at a time, and proceed to shoot the stuffing out of boards we set up, until a board is cut in half. The first team to cut their board wins that heat and moves on. We will decide on the elimination scheme Sunday morning

We will start signing up about 10:30, and shooting around 11:00 to beat the cold. Setup will be light, and start around 10:00am

This will be open to pistols and pistol caliber carbines, not sure about slug guns yet.....stay tuned for that one. We discovered last year that rifles, unless big bore, didn't work so good, it takes lots of .223 to cut a board....

We are running this one very informally, as far as the preamble is concerned, so preregistration is helpful yorksignup@gmail.com, but there will be no formal squadding, until match day. We have not set a shooter limit, since this is a team thing.

Safety is always paramount, so remember we are a cold range, no handling of handguns but at safety areas, and longuns must be racked, bagged or slung with chamber flags.

Check in will be up front, as we will likely be in bays 1 and 2.
