nice gun, thats what I carry.

You can take a sub-compact 40SW mag and fit 13 rounds of 9mm in it. You may need to bend the lips in on the mag just a little, so that with 1 9mm round in it wont lock the slide back. I got prob 500+ rounds through mine after I made the change with no issues. Did many mags through just loading 2 in cause my main concern was that last round.

I cant quite get a handle on resizeing pics but here is a link:

No rounds thru it yet, we did our usual SPAG on Sunday trip. Part of our membership is free gun rentals and Jeannie had her eye on a Bersa .380 so we rented one. Nice shooter and she has gone from being afraid of guns to wanting some a bit bigger then her Ruger 22/45 but the bersa wasn't quite it. My Kahr being as thin and light as it is just wasn't it either (recoil wise)

Enter the XD9. We rented the XD9 and she loved it but it was a tad to big for carry but she liked the features, so we wanted to try an XD9 sub compact but they didn't have one for rent, they did have one for sale though, so we fondled it a bit and decided it was the one she wanted. I thought it felt good too, if it doesn't work out for her well ......

Nice package too, two mags, one extended, a two mag holder, a holster and a speed loader included.

I was never crazy about that in the trigger safety Glocks & XD's have but it also has a grip safety and after being able to hold it look at it and shoot one (the XD9) it's not so bad after-all.

The range had gotten pretty busy buy the time the deal was done so we''ll have to wait until next Sunday to shoot it.

It's nice, now I want one too .....
