Default Supressor for a PTR 91, Glock 21, Uzi!

    Hello!
I am interested in any info concerning supressing the above weapons.
I need to get the PTR threaded as well!
    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!

You should probably put this in gunsmithing, better response.I have a PTR91 also so I would be interested.

Actually, it should be in the Class III/NFA section.

OP, what do you know about suppressors?

I'm not into suppressors but i am into G3 clones (such as the PTR91)

the consensus is that they do not make a good suppressor host

What about the MP5 SD? Isn't that the gold standard for military and law enforcement in a suppressed swat weapon? I can't think of a better more proven factory weapon.

    To the OP

    1. The HK 91 platform is a bit challenging to suppress as most 30/223 semi guns are. Most of the times you run into cycle problems because of the bullets being loaded so weak. That being said it can be done. If your PTR has a FH on it , then it should be treaded.
    2. You are talking about at least to different cans here and probably 3 different, one for each gun.
    3. You should be in the NFA section.

5 Get ready to put out some $

You have to pay for a tax stamp for each suppressor. So at $200 per stamp you're already at $600 before you figure in the cost of actually buying the cans. I'm not trying to dissuade you by any means, just letting you know what to expect.

200 per stamp, but some cans can do multi cal., 30cal can with qd mount cover 30cal and down in centerfires, 45 can can do 45,40/10mm and 9mm.

I was referring to C-VENN's suggestion of 3 different cans. But I didn't know that a 45 could do all that. Good to know, thanks!
