Re: WalMart - Winchester White Box problems?
You'll also find this ammo at Gander Mountain?

Re: WalMart - Winchester White Box problems?
All of my WWB is clearly marked on the box, Made In USA.
For what it's worth I belong to the p38 forum and the 115gr. is highly recommended. Most posts there for ammo problems are for the Remington.
All other problems come back to springs and worn or broken parts, lubrication and cleaning issues. If I were to have any issues with their ammo I'd take it up with them once I knew my weapon was not at fault.
Still waiting for an answer on what firearms manufacturer voids their warrant for its use.Last edited by crazy charlie; March 31st, 2008 at 05:58 PM. Reason: added comments

Re: WalMart - Winchester White Box problems?
I've had problems with this ammo. but only in my Hi-Point C9. Cheap Gun, Cheap Ammo, I expected nothing less. I reload for the most part, I just needed the brass. Works OK in my other guns. I have found that they are a little longer than Rem. UMC and I never had a problem with Remington firing. So maybe that was the problem. ???

Re: WalMart - Winchester White Box problems?
I use it when I need new brass. .45 ACP mostly. I never had a problem with any of it. I wish they made it in 44-40.

Re: WalMart - Winchester White Box problems?
I used wwb in .40 for my g23 1 time, don't know if it was just a bad day or what but I was all over the paper with this stuff, also gave more muzzle flash.
I think it's a dirty ammo.

Re: WalMart - Winchester White Box problems?
What ammo isn't dirty?!?!?
I've used a huge amount of different ammo over the years. Whether it be testing, carrying or just plain old range use. It's ALL dirty. The filthiest ammo I have ever used has been Federal EFMJ. I have yet to see CLEAN firing ammunition.
