    Default Revolver grip reccomendations

So I've got a Rossi 972, and would love to replace the stock rubber grip with a somewhat longer, beefier wood grip.

Does anyone make a nice rosewood grip for Rossi's? Or am I gonna have to invade my friend's woodshop and build my own?

I wouldn't expect to find custom grips made for a Rossi. That's the whole point of buying a Rossi, cheap no frills gun.

Guess I'll be doing some woodworking, then...but then I can customize to my exact grip, which will truly personalize the wheelgun...be nice to have something unique.

All I can say is I hope you took shop is HS. I've tried finding grips for a Tracker and finally gave up on it. I didn't take shop, I took small engines and automotive, so if I need to make a pin or a washer, it's a piece of cake. Wood? I'm screwed.

edit: there are wood grips out there for small Rossi revolvers, but nothing I've seen for a gun your size. As Sparksfly said, its not an expensive gun, and the grips that come on it are already good for fighting. Not too many people customizing a Rossi.

BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.
